Is this team generator free?▾
Yes, completely free with no account required. You only need to sign in if you want to save your teams.
How are the teams balanced?▾
Players are grouped by position (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker) and skill rating (1–10), then spread evenly across teams so each side gets a fair lineup.
Can I use real football players?▾
Yes. Open the Real Teams tab, filter by country and league, pick a club, and tap players to add them. Positions and club crests are filled in automatically. Hundreds of domestic leagues worldwide are supported.
Which leagues are available?▾
Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Süper Lig, and hundreds more domestic leagues from around the world. Use the country filter to find any league quickly.
How do I share the lineup to WhatsApp?▾
After building your teams, tap the '🔗 Share' button at the bottom. 'Share as PNG' opens the native share sheet on mobile so you can send it directly to WhatsApp, Instagram, or any app. 'Copy text' copies an emoji-formatted team list to your clipboard so you can paste it straight into a chat.
Can I drag players freely on the pitch?▾
Yes. Drag any player to any position on the pitch view. The exact placement is saved, so when you reload the lineup it looks exactly the same.
Can I use it on my phone?▾
Yes. It works on all phones and tablets. You can also add it to your home screen as an app. On mobile, 'Share as PNG' opens the system share sheet directly.
How many players per team can I set?▾
Anywhere from 1 to 20 per team. For a typical five-a-side or astroturf game, teams of 5, 6, or 7 work best.
Can I share the lineup as a link?▾
Yes. Use the 'Copy link' option in the Share menu to generate a permanent URL. Anyone who opens it sees the lineup loaded directly in the Generator or Real Teams page — no account needed.
Can I add scores and notes to saved teams?▾
Yes. After you sign in and save a lineup, open Saved Teams to enter each team's score and add match notes. Real-team lineups with club crests are saved just like regular ones.
